Akim lives with his parents and 6 siblings on a small piece of land. His parents are peasant farmers, earning little income from farming to pay for basic necessities like education, healthcare and bedding. 
 
Akim is in Kindergarten and loves playing football. After school, he wishes to become a doctor.
