SPONSORSHIP COMMITMENT

When you sponsor a child or staff member through LCF you are committing to the long term responsibility of paying a monthly fee. 

 

When a child looses a sponsor, they unfortunately cannot remain in school as we no longer have the funds to cover their fees. This in turn impacts on their wellbeing and is heartbreaking news for them and their family. We ask that you very carefully consider the long term nature of sponsoring before you decide to sponsor a child.

 

We understand that circumstances change unexpectedly and we have a 1 month cancellation policy in place to allow for this. This allows us time to hopefully find the sponsor child a new sponsor while still being able to remain at school.

 

Sponsoring a child and/or staff member is a long-term commitment. For sponsor children we hope you can see your sponsor child grow up and hopefully pursue their dreams, whether that is at university, pursuing a practical trade or through starting their own business one day. For staff members, we hope you can build a life long relationship with them.

If you are unsure you are able to commit to the long term responsibility of sponsoring, there are many other ways you can help us on our mission. You are welcome to donate or purchase gifts for children in need through our gift store or donate to our projects more generally. Please see the links below.
